The theme of this one-day workshop is relationships.
The majority of people seeking Tarot consultations are asking
about their relationships. After doing many readings you begin
to notice the same patterns repeating themselves. Although
some of the details of each story may differ, the underlining
themes are identical.
This workshop looks at our relationships through the many
levels of the Ryder Waite Tarot symbolism. There will be a
brief discussion about the different Tarot decks on the market
today, adressing the emotional and psychological energies
of those decks in particular. We will look at Tarot's connection
with the language of love.
An archetypal approach to Tarot readings will be used to
uncover the hidden depths of our relationships. We will look
at both the dark and light sides of the archetypes depicted
in the cards, which are reflections of our innate psychological
patterns and human characteristics.
We will explore our own personal myths, via the Psychological
Astrology model, in order to see how we affect our relationship
with others. We will see how our astrological blueprint interacts
with the expectations of our Tarot readings. Through our practice
spreads we will gain an understanding of what is going on
in our inner lives and the way we externalize (or 'project')
our inner life onto people. In this light we can see that
who enters our life has something to do with what we are made
up of.
When Cupid's arrow strikes like a bolt from the blue, instead
of getting knocked out of orbit and dazzled out of our wits
by the force of Eros, we will look at how we can keep more
of a level head and stay grounded. We will need to be discerning,
discriminating, to have a voice, to be able to say the direction
in which we would like the relationship to go.
The Major Arcana and Minor Arcana will all be viewed through
the light of our relationships. The one day workshop also
includes looking at the connections of Tarot with:
- Astrology
- Numerology
- Colour Symbolism
- Psychic Development
- Mediumship
We will concentrate on mastering two Tarot spreads.
Throughout the day the group, will be invited to participate
in a minimum of fifteen relationships Tarot Readings.
