This one day work shop is aimed at those students who completed
the beginners and intermediate levels of the Mythic Tarot
course. We will discuss the different Tarot decks on the market
today; And take a look at the emotional and psychological
energies of those decks.
A look at Tarots connection with the language of love, will
introduce us to the theme of the day. The Mythic Tarot deck
allows us to take an in-depth look at one of the stories that
is considered to be one of the main archetypal stories of
female development, given to the feminine element of water
is the love story of Eros and Psyche. We will look how we
can develop some psychological muscle, to stay grounded when
we are faced with the many levels ( knocked out of orbit dazzled
out of our wits) of the archetypal force of Cupids arrow.
Are we fated by what appears to be a random shooting of Cupids
arrow? Using the Mythic Tarots archetypal approach we will
explore when, both past and present we were hit by Cupids
arrow, and we will explore the consequence of our encounters.
The ancient Greeks believed that when we were in love we were
possessed by a God, a form of divine possession, a type of
madness. Carl Jung wrote We are all born with an ability to
understand archetypes. he said that ability is built into
our psychological makeup and that we are pre-programmed to
look for archetypes in our everyday life and when we find
them, We can make sense of complicated relationships. Working
with various relationship spreads will enable us to gain insight
into the unconscious patterns operating in our relationships.
We can literally see ourselves and others in the cards, and
explore our relationship with them. The unconscious expresses
itself through symbolic images i.e. dreams guided imagery.
Tarot as a symbolic system translates our problems into a
symbolic language, an understanding of that language, can
help promote profound inner changes which in turn will help
us make positive changes in the way we relate to others. The
one day work shop also includes, looking at the connection
with Astrology and Tarot, Numerology, Colour Symbolism, Psychic
Development and Meduimship. We will concentrate on mastering
two Tarot spreads. Throughout the day the group will be invited
to participate in a minimum of fifteen relationship Tarot
Readings.
