One Day Workshop: This is a beginner’s workshop to introduce the student to the may levels of Tarot Symbolism using the well known Ryder-Waite deck (sometimes erroneously called the Rider-Waite).

There will be a brief discussion, about different Tarot decks and what they have to offer. We will look at the Major and Minor Arcana from archetypal perspective, looking at the many advantages for self development that a psychological approach has to offer.

The workshop also includes developing skills to use the Tarot as an oracular vehicle.

The workshop will cover a brief history of Tarot.

We will journey through the 22 major Arcana and the minor Arcana. We will master two basic spreads. The workshop is aimed at giving students a basic understanding of the Tarot and principles involved in becoming a competent Tarot reader at a professional level.

Under the guidance of the tutor we will do at least 20 practice spreads.
